Ans. Seventh Schedule of the Constitution provides for State, Centre and Concurrent list, listing subjects on which they can make laws and policies. State list includes subjects like Education, Health, Police. But currently, even Centre can make laws on state subject if Rajya Sabha passes resolution to treat it as.
