According to Economic Survey, judicial delay have led to losses amounting to an as much as 1.5% of GDP. With a pendency of about 4.4 crore cases, justice delivery requires an overhaul immediately (Law Minister). Role of poor judicial infrastructure in hampering pace of justice: 1. Lack of digitization of court records 2. Deficit in clerical manpower 3. Dilapidated court rooms (eg. Bihar - Patna chewed court records)
