ITC Three Services → Integrated → Geographical Location - Army - Army - North - Navy - Navy - South - Airforce - Airforce - East West Challenges: i) Huitancy among tri-services due to competition, infexisme rivalry ii) Will require complex overhaul and can be time-consuming iii) Defence in trans-binary theatre can be affected → leading to issues
iv) Appointment of Head of ITC will be on issue due to tri-service having different models and needs v) Creating a 'chain of command' integration of resources can be challenging How ITC can lead to integration and rationalization of manpower and resources: i) Saves multiplicity of command and hierarchy ii) Makes defence structure leaner and faster and efficient iii) Pooling of resources will allow in rationalizing extra cost iv) Enhanced coordination during emergency services → faster decision making and actions
